Novosibirsk Government identified the priorities of the transport infrastructure development

In the region transport infrastructure development for the year 2012 among the priorities there are the construction of the Novosibirsk - Kamen-on-Ob road, the Soviet highway, the second line of the bridge through the Ob river on the Tanks - Vengerovo – Kyshtovka road, the bridge across the Orda river on the Novosibirsk – Kochki - Pavlodar highway.

 Also, the Novosibirsk region Government intends to April 1 update the schedule of the transport interchange on the South square construction, which should relieve the Novosibirsk center by means of the capacity increase.

 Earlier this large multi-level road interchange at the South square - the the Bol'shevistskaja str., Krasny prospectus, Kamenskaya highway and Fabrichnaja str. intersection was planned to planned to render in 2011. On the Novosibirsk Mayor's office evaluation, the object defrosting requires 1.5 billion roubles.

 Governor Vasily YURCHENKO said, that "the third bridge over the Ob in Novosibirsk construction is conducted strictly in accordance with the schedule": "Our task – to set the project in operation in 2014 in order to improve the standard of living in the Novosibirsk. Of course, this object will be a serious impact for the territory development".

In addition, according to Vasily YURCHENKO, the regional government and the Mayor's office are working together with the Russian Federation Ministry of transport on the financing from the Federal, regional and municipal budgets scheme establishment of Novosibirsk metro construction. "If there was no subway, Novosibirsk would hardly have reached the level of development, which it has today. The further development of the metro and the new stations are necessary for the city. In order to the subway development fitted the needs of the city, we should annually direct 2-3 billion roubles to this sphere" - said the Governor.
